Welcome to Academia of Jiu Jitsu

At Academia of Jiu Jitsu, we are passionate about providing a safe and supportive environment for individuals to learn and grow through the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Head coach Jason Gotch has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1994 and was the first Western Australian to open an academy, and be graded to Blue and Purple belt. He traveled to Brazil in 1999 and 2001 and has since trained across the globe. He is currently a Brown Belt under renowned Australian pioneer Daniel Cherubin (4th degree Black Belt) and teaches "bespoke" classes and private lessons at the Academia HQ, in Broadstairs, Kent.
